A black soft web,
hiding shadows in my eyes; it's just my palms.
But I feel enveloped in blankness, stuttering yet counting hastily,
still it feels like eternity.
I guess it'd be worth the wait, despite being camouflaged with silhouettes,
so I wait patiently as time forms perspiration on my naked brows.
Till a knock sings in my ears, bringing brightness to my already dead vision;
lifting grey clouds hanging on lids, to blue skies in bliss.
That silver outline I imagined to see, stares back at me mouthing,
"Found you".
I smile: what I waited to hear
